Abridged Mod (1.20.4, 1.20.1) brings an aesthetic solution to this problem by adding beautiful, well detailed bridges across rivers and canyons. There are a lot of variants for these new bridges, including ones with different wood and stone variants and some even with usable rail tracks. There is a pillager themed bridge that is guarded by pillagers. There are a lot of bridge variants and you will come across them while exploring your world.Â
