Authy Plugin
Authy Plugin (1.20.1, 1.19.4) is a powerful tool designed to enhance the security and authentication mechanisms on your Minecraft server. With the rise of online gaming communities and the need for robust player account protection, Authy steps in to provide an additional layer of security for player logins and access. By implementing two-factor authentication (2FA) through Authy, server administrators can ensure that only authorized players gain entry, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and potential security breaches.
Features:
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Authy adds an extra layer of security to player logins by requiring a second form of verification beyond the traditional password. This can include a time-based one-time password (TOTP) generated by the Authy app on the player’s mobile device.
- Enhanced Account Protection: With 2FA in place, players’ accounts are more secure from unauthorized access, ensuring that only the legitimate account holders can log in.
- Customizable Security Settings: Server administrators have the flexibility to set up and configure the level of security required for players to access the server. This can include mandatory 2FA for all players or only for specific groups.
- Easy Integration: Authy seamlessly integrates into your existing server infrastructure, making it straightforward to implement and manage.
- Mobile App Compatibility: Players can easily set up Authy on their mobile devices, providing a convenient and secure method for generating authentication codes.
