In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make bamboo stairs, place 6 bamboo planks in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making bamboo stairs, it is important that the bamboo planks are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 bamboo planks in the first box.
