Blackpowder Guns Mod

Inspired by the Roblox game, Guts & Blackpowder. Blackpowder Guns Mod (1.20.1) adds 3D gun models and a variety between guns. There are more than 10 guns. There is an ingame guide called the Napoleonic Guidebook. This mod is iron-heavy and common usage of these guns will require good infrastructure before hand. Especially the Windbusche.

Features:

MUSKET

  • A generally well-rounded gun with no noticeable downsides
  • One shots players and monsters that do not have any armor (as most guns do in this mod)
    • Inaccurate over long distances, best for medium and short distances.

DOPPELSTUTZEN (DOUBLE BARREL RIFLE)

  • Rifled and Smoothbore barrels, for accuracy or getting a second shot in one volley.
  • Generally should be used as a medium-ranged carbine
  • Can change loading priorities between the rifle and pistol barrels
  • Can be shot when half loaded (unlike most other guns in this mod)
    • Confusing to use
    • Requires 2 seperate calibers to fully load

BAKER RIFLE

  • Pinpoint accuracy
  • Pierces enemies
  • Projectile is faster and has more distance compared to other guns, stays in a straight line for longer.
    • Requires a mallet in the reloading process before you can use a ramrod
    • Requires it’s own type of specialized ammunition, which can be expensive.

PISTOL

  • Does not require a ramrod to reload, making the reloading process faster
  • Less resource costly than the musket
  • Fast reloading speed
    • Inaccurate over long and medium distances
    • Cannot one-shot unarmored mobs or players

DOUBLE BARREL PISTOL

  • Deals more damage than the pistol in total damage, and equals to the musket in terms of damage.
  • Does not require a ramrod to reload
  • Fast reloading speed
    • Highly inaccurate, practically a point-blank weapon.
    • A single pellet deals less damage than the regular pistol
    • Requires twice the gunpowder and ammunition to fully load (cannot shoot with only one barrel filled/loaded yet)

NOCK GUN

  • Deals the most damage currently
  • Fires 7 pellets that deal 10 damage upon contact, meaning it could one-shot 7 unarmored (and severely damage armored) players or mobs in a single shot, or (if invincibility frames are off/disabled,) shred through a single heavily armored player and decimate them easily.
    • Is insanely resource intensive and is wasteful on ramrod durability
    • Very long reload speed
    • Are slowed while reloading this gun
    • Slightly inaccurate but the bullets are still (mostly) in a cluster
