Chain Boots Wiki Guide
This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft chain boots with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.
In Minecraft, chain boots is an armor item that you can not make with a crafting table or furnace. Instead, you need to find and gather this item in the game.
Let’s explore how to add chain boots to your inventory.

Minecraft Java Edition (PC/Mac)
Here is where you can find chain boots in the Creative Inventory menu:
Platform | Version(s) | Creative Menu Location |

How to get Chain Boots in Survival Mode
You can add chain boots to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a zombie that is wearing one.
If you are having trouble finding a zombie wearing chain boots, you can summon one using our summon mob generator.
Once you find the zombie, you need to attack it. When you attack the zombie, it will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to chase and attack the zombie. Once you have killed the zombie, it may drop the armor that it is wearing.
Make sure you pick up the chain boots before it disappears.
Chain boots is a rare armor item and should be kept in your inventory.
