How to craft a Diamond Axe in Survival Mode

1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make a diamond axe, place 3 diamonds and 2 sticks in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making a diamond axe, it is important that the diamonds and sticks are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. There should be 2 diamonds in the first row (the last box in the row should be left empty). In the second row, 1 diamond should be in the first box and 1 stick should be in the second box (the last box in the row should be left empty). In the third row, 1 stick should be in the middle box. Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the diamond axe will appear in the box to the right.
