Disable Hostile Grief Data Pack
Are you scared of block breaking mobs such as the Creeper, Enderman that come and blow up your house as sone as you built with it, or when a roaming zombie just walk by and steal your loot? Disable Hostile Grief Data Pack (1.15.1, 1.14) is here to solve your problem, this data pack was created to allow Villagers to harvest crops, and Snow Golems to place snow players, while also retaining the desirable feature of gamerule mobGriefing = false.
Note: This data pack sets the mobGriefing gamerule to true.
Data Pack function:
The data pack disables block destruction done by the following hostile mobs:
- Creeper.
- Enderman.
- Ghast.
This data pack also prevents the following hostile mobs from picking up items:
- Zombie.
- Drowned.
- Husk.
- Zombie Pigman.
- Zombie Villager.
- Skeleton.
- Stray.
Other hostile mobs that destroy blocks, such as Wither Boss (and its flying skulls) and Ender Dragon do not have their explosion or block destruction ability stored in their entity data. so they cannot (currently) have their griefing disabled via data pack in a way that doesn’t result in undesirable effects.
Screenshots:
The Creeper can’t destroy any block.
The Husk can’t pick up any arrows on the way.
