Does It Tick? Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) is designed to significantly improve server performance by controlling which entities need to tick based on player proximity. The core idea is simple: if an entity, such as a sheep, is far away and doesn’t impact the playerâ€™s gameplay, it wonâ€™t “tick” or update.

Features:

Disables entity ticking for entities far from players.
Supports chunk claiming to maintain entity ticking where necessary.
Configurable whitelist for essential entities.
