If you want more options for your fences, you might like Expanded Fences Addon (1.19) that adds two new fence variants for each wood type. You can now have fences with log or stripped log posts that match the texture of the wood. This addon is simple and vanilla friendly, and it works well with any texture pack that changes the wood textures.

These new fence posts connect to many of the vanilla blocks you would expect as well as vanilla fence blocks and gates. An added perk to these fences is unlike vanilla fences, they are one block tall and are able to be jumped over by the player.
