Groovy Script Mod
Groovy Script Mod (1.12.2) is a scripting/tweaking mod that allows developers to alter various different game mechanics without using mods. The mod is mostly used by developers to introduce new crafting recipes into the game. As a library mod, the mod by itself does not introduce anything new into the game, but it facilitates an environment which makes it easy for mod developers to program their mods efficiently. And for this reason, this mod is required as a library dependency mod by many other mods. A list of features as noted by the developer are given below.

Events: Easily listen to Forge’s EventBuses with Groovy Closures
Familiarity: Bracket handlers for those that are familiar with CraftTweaker (currently implemented, may be removed in the near future)
Informational: Commands to display rich information for the item in your hand and more
Optimized: Making sure no compromises are being made while delivering features with efficient code
API: Great catalog of code for other mod authors to make their mods compatible with GroovyScript such as package/class/method/field blacklists
