How to get Gunpowder in Survival Mode
You can add gunpowder to your inventory in Survival mode by killing a creeper. So let’s get started!
1. Find a Creeper
You first need to find a creeper. You can find creepers in most Overworld biomes in light levels of 7 or less. Creepers will spawn in the dark, usually at night.
2. Attack and Kill the Creeper
Once you find a creeper, you need to attack it. When you attack the creeper, it will turn pink as it takes damage.
Continue to chase and attack the creeper. Once you have killed the creeper, it will drop gunpowder.
3. Pick up the Gunpowder
Make sure you pick up the gunpowder before it disappears.
Gunpowder is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
