img-responsive

Features:

This addon aims to bring a horror experience into the base game through the extremely old and pretty overdone concept of “Herobrine”

img-responsive

img-responsive

– Herobrine (normal) at the beach (wholesome)

The idea is that there are fake variants of animals that will spawn Herobrine upon taking damage.

img-responsive

– All 9 corrupted creatures without the enderman, he was annoying and kept escaping, day ruined

Each corrupted animal behaves like their ordinary counterparts, the only difference being that they all have the same shaped white eyes.

img-responsive

img-responsive

– Tl;dr: look at the eyes before striking

This addon also includes good rewards and incentive for defeating Herobrine.

img-responsive

img-responsive

This addon also includes EPILEPTIC IMAGERY and potentially loud sounds, made to scare the player upon making a mistake and hitting an imposter.

img-responsive

– Above is the 25% chance of getting the “Psychotic” variant of Herobrine, further explained in the following HEROBRINE(s) section.

img-responsive

CAN USE A WATER ANTI-CHEAT

Just so you don’t cheese his fight by staying in the water, Any time he spots the player OR gets hit. This is what happens to surrounding water:

img-responsive

(It is a 10-block radius created around the area, only clearing through water)

RAPIDLY TELEPORTS AROUND YOU WHEN IN A RANGE OF AROUND 25 BLOCKS

RUNS FASTER THAN YOU

SUMMONING:

75% CHANCE OF SUMMONING (On hitting imposter)

img-responsive

img-responsive

HAS 3 DIFFERENT SUMMON TEXTS (33% chance each):

66% CHANCE TO BE BLINDED ON HIS SUMMON

LIGHTNING SOUNDS + STATIC NOISE

PSYCHOTIC VARIANT:

5 RANGED DAMAGE (Fires blaze fireballs)

LIKELY TO BE IGNITED EACH HIT

UPON DEATH GIVES ALL PLAYERS (Through commands):

SUMMONS LIGHTNING ON DEATH

RAPIDLY FLIES AROUND YOU WHEN IN THE VICINITY OF AROUND 50 BLOCKS

TELEPORTS FAR OCCASIONALLY

IS NOT NAMED “PSYCHOTIC” FOR HIGH HEALTH/DAMAGE, BUT FOR CHAOTICALLY PLACING NETHERRACK WHEREVER IT GOES, BRINGING CHAOS

img-responsive

(The aftermath of MULTIPLE Psychotic Herobrines being let loose.)

SUMMONING:

25% CHANCE OF SUMMONING (On hitting imposter)

img-responsive

HAS 1 MASSIVE SUMMON TEXT, AS SEEN ABOVE

Do you even call that text?

100% CHANCE TO BE BLINDED ON HIS SUMMON

LIGHTNING SOUNDS + STATIC NOISE (Like normal)

IF YOUR WORLD IS BEING DESTROYED BY EITHER OF THEM AND YOU WANT TO KILL ALL ENEMIES IN THE ADDON EASILY, USE:

The Purger

img-responsive

(Kills all enemies from the addon specifically 5 TIMES over, gets the job done in 3 frames but can be VERY LOUD AND LAGGY, Further explained in EXTRA CONTENT)

And that’s all from Herobrine(s)

All Creatures

Show Spoiler

There are 9 corrupted mobs:

img-responsive

COW:

img-responsive

CHICKEN:

img-responsive

(it is possible for a wolf to attack a fake chicken and summon Herobrine, but very rare)

PIG:

img-responsive

ZOMBIE:

img-responsive

SKELETON:

img-responsive

(Not to be confused with stray skeletons, who already have white eyes)

SPIDER:

img-responsive

ENDERMAN:

img-responsive

(Can take damage in the rain and auto spawn Herobrine, but very rare, mostly spawns in The End)

HOGLIN:

img-responsive

(The difference in the Hollins is harder to notice)

WITHER SKELETON:

img-responsive

(Spawns on nether bricks)

NOTE: There are baby variants.

img-responsive

ANIMAL INFO:

  • 1 HEALTH (They die in 1 hit)
  • They possess the SAME BEHAVIOUR and/or DAMAGE as their normal counterparts
  • BUT INSTEAD, THEY DROP 1-4 QUARTZ ON DEATH
  • THEY ALSO DO NOT BURN IN THE SUN, NO MATTER WHAT
  • And as for sounds, they produce a somewhat loud static sound when being hit (adds to the scary aspect)
  • The herobrine animals featured in this addon spawn absolutely EVERYWHERE where there is grass.
  • Just to be clear, this means that these animals will spawn in areas where even normal base game animals do not spawn very commonly or at all
  • I am bringing this up to prevent the idea that the animals in this addon are heavily affecting the spawns of base animals in the game when in-fact, most of the areas you’re looking at are simply inhabitable for base animals in the game
  • and in turn, the herobrine animals are the only species spawning there.

Tl;dr: These animals DO NOT affect base animal spawn rates in 90% of biomes

Extra content

Show Spoiler

There are 6 items:

– Blank Eye –

img-responsive

  • (Given to the player by killing Herobrine)
  • When used: Clears all of the player’s effects, like milk
  • Cooldown: 8 Seconds
  • Used to craft: Suspicious Looking Chest, Cursed Scepter, Both Herobrine Summons

– Cursed Scepter –

img-responsive

  • When used: Applies fast levitation and slow falling, launching you in the air and allowing for safe landing

img-responsive

  • Cooldown: 10 Seconds

Crafted with:

img-responsive

  • 1 Blank eye
  • 1 Diamond
  • 3 Quartz

– Suspicious Looking Chest –

img-responsive

img-responsive

  • (The only pet in this addon)
  • When used: Summons a functional, tameable pet mimic, consumable item

img-responsive

  • Tamed with: Spider eyes

img-responsive

Crafted with:

img-responsive

  • 1 Blank eye
  • 8 Planks

OR

img-responsive

  • 1 Blank eye
  • 1 Chest

– INFO –

  • 100 HEALTH
  • Simply follows the player after being tamed with a Spider eye
  • Does teleport toward player when far away
  • Holds 30 inventory slots, like a chest
  • DOES drop all interior items when dead

ON DEATH:

  • Places a chest where the mimic dies,
  • Drops 1 Blank Eye (Allowing for re-crafting)

img-responsive

– Purger –

img-responsive

  • (Only accessible through creative mode)
  • When used: Kills all enemies from the addon specifically 5 TIMES over, gets the job done in 3 frames but can be VERY LOUD AND LAGGY
  • (Does kill all enemies, the hoglins only persist because Bedrock is weird, going closer to them makes them disappear.)
  • This is only laggy because imposter enemies summon Herobrine and Herobrine summons lightning when they all die, This is all done quickly and causes TEMPORARY LAG
  • Your inventory will also be filled with Blank Eyes and Steve Heads because Herobrine gives them to ALL PLAYERS upon death

– Herobrine’s Summon (Normal) –

img-responsive

  • When placed: Summons Herobrine (Normal)
  • Can only be placed on netherrack
  • Using this over naturally spawning him removes the negative spawn effects like instantly giving blindness upon being summoned
  • Using this ALSO removes the screen text

Crafted with:

img-responsive

  • 1 Blank eye

– Herobrine’s Summon (Psychotic) –

  • When placed: Summons Herobrine (Psychotic)
  • Can only be placed on netherrack
  • Using this over naturally spawning him removes the negative spawn effects like turning nearby grass into Netherrack OR instantly giving blindness BOTH upon being summoned
  • Using this ALSO removes the insane flashy screen-covering text, allowing for a fairer fight.

Crafted with:

img-responsive

  • 1 Blank eye
  • 4 Redstone

OVERALL, the mimic is obviously the best feature in the addon 11/10.

img-responsive

  •  His less jittery walking animation

Guide

Show Spoiler

You will start the game and need to avoid any of the 9 animals in the addon, all with a few noticeable red flags

img-responsive

img-responsive

img-responsive

(Luckily there are NO FAKE SHEEP, so you won’t need to worry about them for food and wool.)

Some of the red flags include:

  •  OBVIOUS WHITE EYES
  •  SPAWNING IN BIOMES WITH NO OTHER ANIMALS (THEY STRICTLY SPAWN ON OVERWORLD GRASS)
  •  SPAWNING ALONE/BY THEMSELVES
  •  NOT BURNING DURING THE DAY (E.G ZOMBIES)
  •  NOT TAKING ANY FALL DAMAGE
  •  SPAWNING STRICTLY DURING THE NIGHT, EVEN IF IT ISN’T DARK
  •  A BABY BEING ALONE

And that’s all for the animals, Don’t hit them, and be careful in case they might accidentally spawn Herobrine on their own (Explained in CREATURES)

Also, baby fake animals exist.

img-responsive

But what if you accidentally summoned Herobrine too early game and his spawn kills you?

You could:

  • Just keep trying to hurt him until he dies, the Blank Eye is a good item  but not game-breaking to get early and still requires some later game items to use for crafting
  • (Like the cursed scepter, also needing diamonds to be made)

img-responsive

OR You could:

  • Place flowers. Yes, place flowers.
  • Herobrine is scared of flowers in this addon (Any of them):

img-responsive

This allows you to create a safe perimeter around your base, as he has a range of about 25 BLOCKS for when he detects flowers:

img-responsive

  • Herobrine poetically looks out at the flowers, in absolute fear

This is just so you can at least get past the beginning of the game, BUT PLEASE make sure to consider option A

It’s recommended to at least have a full iron armor set for trying to beat Herobrine, beating either normal OR Psychotic are both completely viable, as they are both balanced for what they can do.

Psychotic only has 75 HEALTH, but is extremely fast and can damage your world,

WHILE…

Normal has 150 HEALTH, and does more damage, but runs on the ground

Psychotic could also be reasonably summoned using Hero brine’s Summon (Psychotic), Using this instead of naturally spawning him prevents him from turning the ground into netherrack upon being spawned, or giving blindness. It also allows you to make an arena to contain him (as he flies insanely fast)

(Further explained in HEROBRINE(S))

You also don’t want to try to cheat the fight by staying in water, as he has a water anti-cheat (Further explained in HEROBRINE(S))

Skipping ahead, after you beat Herobrine for the first time, you get a a few choices:

You could keep the Blank Eye, as it clears your effects with a cooldown (further explained in EXTRA CONTENT)

OR

Craft something really cool, For example:

(For more detail, view EXTRA CONTENT)

The Cursed Scepter allows for limited flight

img-responsive

img-responsive

The Suspicious Looking Chest gives you a VERY USEFUL pet

img-responsive

img-responsive

The Hero brine’s Summon(s) allow you to summon the Herobrine(s) without instant blindness, flashy effects, or negative outcomes from summoning
