1 Shears
How to get Jungle Leaves in Survival Mode
You can add jungle leaves to your inventory in Survival mode by trimming the leaves from a jungle tree with a pair of shears. So, let’s get started!
1. Find a Jungle Tree
First, you need to find a jungle tree in your Minecraft world. Jungle trees are usually found in the Jungle biome.
2. Hold your Shears
Next, place the shears in your hand by selecting them in the hotbar.
Position your pointer (the plus sign) on the jungle leaves of the tree. You should see the block of jungle leaves become highlighted in your game window.
3. Use the Shears
Next, use the shears on the jungle leaves to cut them from the jungle tree.
The game control to use the shears on the jungle leaves depends on the version of Minecraft:
- For Java Edition (PC/Mac), left click and hold on the jungle leaves.
- For Pocket Edition (PE), you tap and hold on the jungle leaves.
- For Xbox 360 and Xbox One, press and hold the RT button on the Xbox controller.
- For PS3 and PS4, press and hold the R2 button on the PS controller.
- For Wii U, press and hold the ZR button on the gamepad.
- For Nintendo Switch, press and hold the ZR button on the controller.
- For Windows 10 Edition, left click and hold on the jungle leaves.
- For Education Edition, left click and hold on the jungle leaves.
You will need to continue to clip with the shears until the jungle leaves fall from the tree.
4. Pick up the Jungle Leaves
Make sure you pick up the jungle leaves before they disappear.
Once you pick up the jungle leaves, they will appear in your hotbar.
A block of jungle leaves is a useful item and should be kept in your inventory to be used later.
