Recommend that you should install Just Enough Items to view the full recipes included in this mod

Machine Wrench:

The Machine Wrench is a very important tool that every person will need at their disposal. It has 2 uses: Sneak + Right click with the wrench to break a machine and return it to item form. Right-Click to perform an action at the machine. This action depends on the machines, but it usually rotating it.

Recipe: Iron Ingots, Diamond

The Multimeter is a great tool for checking up on your energy grid. Right clicking with the Multimeter on a device will print out various information in the chat. For most machines, this is how much energy they are currently storing, but some machines also have additional information. Sneak + Right-clicking on a machine will set that machine’s grid id to your current grid id. You can change your grid id with this command: “/trigger mech_gridid set “. Machines set to a grid id will only interact with other machines on the same grid id. Useful for keeping thieves at bay, or setting up sub-networks.

Recipe: Gold Ingots, Iron Ingots, Redstone Dust, Glass

Machine Crafting Table:

The Machine Crafting Table is a custom crafting table used to make the machines and items in Mechanization. It differs slightly from a normal crafting table in that items remain inside when leaving the GUI.

Recipe: Made in a vanilla crafting table. The output looks like an anvil.

Batteries:

Batteries are the core of the energy grid system, serving not only as a way to store energy but also as the energy transmitters. The energy system in Mechanization is completely wireless, with batteries serving as the relay between generators and machines. As such, a battery is required to get started in Mechanization. There are currently 3 tiers of batteries, with an extra Quantum Battery.

Batteries keep their energy when broken with a wrench, so feel free to move them around!

Capacity Transfer Rate Transfer Range Recipe Ingrediants
Tier 1 Battery 100,000 kJ 100 kW 12 Blocks White Wool, Copper Ingots, Redstone, T1 Frame
Tier 2 Battery 350,000 kJ 400 kW 16 Blocks Gray Wool, Conductive Ingots, T2 Frame
Tier 3 Battery 1,000,000_kJ 1000 kW 24 Blocks Purple Wool, Super Conductive Ingots, Nether Ingots, T3 Frame
Quantum Battery 500,000 kJ 1000 kW 16 Blocks* Black Wool, Super Conductive Ingots, Ender Ingots, T3 Frame

*The Quantum Battery is special in that, like an Ender Chest, it shares its power across all other Quantum Batteries (set to the same grid id). This works over any distance and across dimensions, meaning a Quantum Battery can be used to transfer power over any range.

Energy Relay:

The Energy Relay is a powerful device enabling extensive customization of an energy grid. It has 4 modes that can be toggled with a machine wrench.

  • Transmission Mode: Relays energy between a battery and a machine at an extended 48 block range.
  • Collection Mode: Relays energy between a generator and a battery at an extended 48 block range.
  • Import Mode: Relays energy between a battery on the default grid id (0) to a battery on the Energy Relay’s grid id.
  • Export Mode: Relays energy between a battery on the Energy Relay’s grid id to a battery on the default grid id (0).

Recipe: Crystal Composite, Conductive Ingots, T2 Frame, Gray Wool

Machine Upgrade:

Every machine/generator can receive a Machine Upgrade. The upgrade can be added by right-clicking on the machine. The effects are unique for each machine but generally improves speed, efficiency, or range. However, some devices unlock new abilities when upgraded.

Recipe: Steel Ingots, Ender Ingot, Nether Ingot, Crystal Composite, Enchanted Book (any)

Ores:

There are 3 new ores in this mod: Copper, Tin and Titanium.

Ore Rarity Spawns At
Copper Uncommon Y-24 to Y-48
Tin Uncommon Y-20 to Y-44
Titanium Very Rare Y-1 to Y-16

Refining Recipe (applies to copper, tin, and titanium):

Machine Frames:

Machine frames are a crafting ingredient used to make most machines.

Recipe Ingredients
Tier 1 Glass, Tin Ingots, Iron Ingots
Tier 2 Red Glass, Structural Ingots, Steel Ingots
Tier 3 Purple Glass, Reinforced Structural Ingots, Titanium-Steel Ingots

Alloys:

More advanced machines will require alloys made in the Alloy Furnace.

Furnace Generator:

The Furnace Generator is the first generator obtainable in Mechanization. It produces 16 kW using basic furnace fuels.

When Upgraded: Increases power output by 50%.

Recipe: White Terracotta, Water Bucket, Furnace, Copper Ingots, T1 Frame

Solar/Lunar Panel:

The solar panel generates 2-6 kW based on the position of the sun. Additionally, you can right-click on the solar panel to switch it to a lunar panel. The lunar panel will generate power at night, though at a reduced rate.

When Upgraded: Doubles power output.

Recipe: Blue Glass, Conductive Ingots, Daylight Detectors, T2 Frame

Bio Generator:

The Bio Generator produces between 1-27 kW based on the variety of plant matter provided. Each type of plant matter has a different power output, and each unique type of plant matter adds its output to the overall output (see below table).

When Upgraded: Increases power output by 50%.

Power Output Plant Matter
1 kW Cactus, Melon Slices, Sugar Cane, Cocoa Beans & Beetroot
2 kW Potatoes, Carrots, Wheat, and Pumpkins
3 kW Melon Blocks, Nether Wart, & Chorus Fruit
4 kW Red & Brown Mushrooms
5 kW Chorus Flower

Recipe: Nether Brick, Conductive Ingots, Furnace, T2 Frame, Hopper

Ender Generator:

Appears to be able to convert items from The End into raw energy at 32 kW, with rarer items producing power for longer. Hopefully, the strange sounds coming from the generator isn’t a fracture in space-time or anything…

When Upgraded: Increases fuel efficiency by 50%.

Recipe: Purpur Blocks, Super Conductive Ingots, Ender Ingot, T3 Frame, Furnace

Alloy Furnace:

An alloy furnace is an important machine for anyone who wants to progress in Mechanization. It combines various resources into alloys and other materials that can be used to create higher- tier machines. Uses 32 kW.

When Upgraded: Halves processing time.

Recipe: Bricks, Lava Bucket, Copper Ingots, Furnace, T1 Frame

Electric Furnace:

The Electric Furnace is very similar to a normal furnace, except that it runs on power and smelts 25% faster.

When Upgraded: Increases speed to 1 second per item.

Recipe: Iron Ingots, Copper Ingots, Redstone, Furnace, T1 Frame

Automatic Farm:

The Auto Farm will automatically harvest and replant all crops in a 7×7 area around it, dropping the harvested items on top of itself. Uses 48 kW.

When Upgraded: Expands area to 9×9.

Recipe: Conductive Ingots, Diamond Shovel, Diamond Hoes, Hopper, T2 Frame

Teleporter:

The Teleporter will teleport you to another random Teleporter in the same dimension set to the same grid id. Uses 1024 kJ/teleport.

When Upgraded: Allows teleporting across dimensions.

Recipe: Gray Concrete, crystal composite, superconductive ingots, ender ingots, T3 Frame

Guns:

Plasma guns are advanced weapons that every kill-thirsty Minecrafter needs in their arsenal. Being plasma based, they consume power from portable batteries. Also be sure to watch your guns heat level, or your guns will have to stop firing in order to cool down.

Controls: Right click to fire, left click to aim down sights.
