Nvl Portal Gates Mod
NVL Portal Gates Mod (1.21.1, 1.20.1) allows you to build custom portals linking two different locations of your choice. The mod adds two new blocks – Portal controller and Portal gate column. Using these blocks you can build a portal, the interior of which has to be of at least 2×2 block dimensions. This means you will have to use three gate blocks and one controller block to build a one simple portal. A portal links between two locations, and therefore you will have to build two portals. You can then use a new item, called the Portal Gate Coordinate Storage, to copy and store coordinates of one portal. This can then be used on the second portal to connect and activate them.

Build a portal as shown below. One of the blocks has to be a controller block, and the rest has to be gate blocks.
Build the second portal at a different location.
Right click on the controller of portal 1.
Insert a Portal Gate Coordinate Storage and set a name for the portal and then click on the “Set gate name†button.
Press the “Initialize Gate†button and on the “+†icon to copy and add your coordinates.
Once done, take out the Portal Gate Coordinate Storage.
Go to the second portal and right click on its controller.
Insert the Portal Gate Coordinate Storage to the dedicated slot and set a name for this portal and then press on the “Set gate name†button.
Press on the “Initialize Gate†button.
Click on the “^†icon to add the coordinates stored on the Portal Gate Coordinate Storage.
Once added, the coordinates will be copied onto the above column.
Press the “Open Gate†button to light up the portals.
