Suggestion Tweaker Mod
When a player is writing a command, the Suggestion Tweaker Mod (1.20.4, 1.19.4) can be used on both the client and the server to improve the way that suggestions are filtered. In most cases, Vanilla will begin by comparing the input with the beginning of the proposal candidate and will abandon the suggestion if there is no match. In certain circumstances, it looks for a period or an underscore, and after that it reads the input. Because it is so stringent, when one is trying to look for something, this can frequently be a source of annoyance. Because of this hack, that behavior has been altered, and as a result, any entry that contains the input in any part of it will now be included. One can classify suggestions into one of two categories: those that are filtered on the server (depending on the information provided by the client), and those that are not. The first category includes items like functions, loot tables, item modifications, and predicates, amongst other categories of content. The latter include items like the criteria for the scoreboard, the colors, the blocks, and others. A workaround has been devised in order to enable the client to use the new method of filtering ideas independently of the server. This is necessary due to the fact that the filtering of the former method is controlled by the server. This mod can also be installed on the server, and it improves suggestions even for clients that do not have the mod installed.
