Suspicious Stew Wiki Guide

This Minecraft tutorial explains how to craft suspicious stew with screenshots and step-by-step instructions.

In Minecraft, suspicious stew is one of the many food items that you can make (but it is not available in the Creative Inventory menu). Suspicious stew is a special food item that will replenish your food meter as well as give you a status effect for a short time. The status effect will vary depending on the flower that was used to craft the suspicious stew.

How to craft Suspicious Stew in Survival Mode

1. Open the Crafting Menu

First, open your crafting table so that you have the 3×3 crafting grid that looks like this:

Suspicious Stew - Wiki Guide 17

2. Add Items to make Suspicious Stew

In the crafting menu, you should see a crafting area that is made up of a 3×3 crafting grid. To make suspicious stew, place 1 red mushroom, 1 brown mushroom, 1 bowl, and 1 flower in the 3×3 crafting grid.

When making a suspicious stew, it is important that the brown mushroom, red mushroom, bowl and flower are placed in the exact pattern as the image below. In the first row, there should be 1 brown mushroom in the first box, 1 red mushroom in the second box and a flower in the third box. For the flower, you can use dandelion, poppy, blue orchid, allium, azure bluet, red tulip, orange tulip, white tulip, pink tulip, oxeye daisy, cornflower, lily of the valley or wither rose (the status effect given will vary based on the flower used):

In this example, we will use a dandelion as the flower. In the second row, there should be 1 bowl in the middle box. This is the Minecraft crafting recipe for suspicious stew with the Saturation status effect.

Now that you have filled the crafting area with the correct pattern, the suspicious stew will appear in the box to the right.
