The Epic Knights Addon Mcpe

The Epic Knights Addon (1.20, 1.19) is a realistic medieval armor and weapons mod that adds a total of 16 armor sets and 20 weapon types using vanilla resources and a new material called steel. It is inspired by the java Epic Knights Mod by Magistu and is compatible with the 3D Combat Addon by pixelleddoki for enhanced attack animations and abilities. We recommend using 3D combat with the Epic Knights mod for an even more immersive combat experience. Most of the weapons in the mod also have the ability to block attacks. When used correctly, this mod adds a unique and historical touch to Minecraft.

How to play:

In Epic Knights the main resources are leather, wool, and iron, these are essential if you want to progress quickly within the addon. Let’s start with leather, leather can be used to make leather strips which are then used to make hilts and poles. Also in the addon, the boot slot is reserved for surcoats and capes.

These can then be combined with gold, diamond, iron, steel, wood, and stone to make weapons! Netherite like in vanilla is crafted through the smithing table.

Next is wool, wool can be used to craft woolen cloth which is used to craft surcoats, capes, and the Gambeson armor set.

Lastly, we have iron. Iron is as usual in Minecraft an essential resource. Iron can be smelted to obtain the most best resource in addon steel. Steel in terms of weaponry is worse than diamond but is better than iron having higher durability but the same attack damage. However steel is used to craft every armor in the addon, so procuring it is a must if you wish to advance quickly.

• Player has a speed boost when wearing this armor

Knights armor Set

• 19 armor Points
• Made up of Armet Helm (dyable plume) and Knight armor
• Maxed out knockback resistance your immovable by most mobs when wearing this set

Gothic armor Set

• 19 armor Points
• Made up of Sallet Helm and Gothic armor
• Maxed out knockback resistance your immovable by most mobs when wearing this set

Kasten-Brust armor Set

• 19 armor Points
• Made up of Grand Bascinet and Kasten-Brust Armor
• Maxed out knockback resistance your immovable by most mobs when wearing this set

Maximillian armor Set

• 22 armor Points (20 is Minecraft’s limit)
• Made up of Maximillian Helm and Maximillian armor
• One of the best armors in the mod, aesthetically and in functionality

Jousting armor Set

• 22 armor Points (20 is Minecraft’s limit)
• Made up of Jousting Helm and Jousting armor
• Has the slowness 2 debuff, this is because historically jousting armor was heavy and restricted movement,this also forces you to use a horse

Ceremonial armor Set

• 13 armor Points
• Made up of Ceremonial Armet Helm and Ceremonial Knight armor
• Doesn’t have leggings (the leggings in the picture are knight leggings)

WEAPONS

In Epic Knights there are 20 types of weapons plus 2 stand-alone weapons. If used with 3D Combat Addon, each weapon will gain incredible attack animations and some will gain abilities! Please do use 3D combat as it really enhances your experience with both mods!

Note: Weapon abilities and animations will only work IF 3D combat is ENABLED ON THE WORLD!

Ahlspiess

• Medium Damage German Polearm (able to block)

Bastard/Hand and a Half Sword

• Medium to High damage European Sword(able to block)

Claymore

• High Damage Scottish Longsword (able to block)

Chivalry Lance

• High damage horse combat weapon. Abilities: resistance when crouching or on a horse long pressing/right click activates the lance charge ability which bulldozes any entity in its path! (unable to block)

Heavy Mace

• Medium Damage Weapon. Abilities include a smash ability and a stun ability. The Stun ability is activated when long pressing and crunching, when the particles appear the next hit will stun your enemy giving it slowness and does high damage. (unable to block)

Morgenstern

• High damage weapon. Same abilities as heavy mace.(unable to block)

Ranseur

• Medium Damage Polearm.(able to block)

Guisarme

• Medium Damage Polearm.(able to block)

Pike

• High Damage Polearm.(unable to block)

Lochaber Axe

• High Damage Weapon.(able to block)

Short Sword

• Low Damage Weapon.(unable to block)

Katzblager

• Low Damage Weapon.(unable to block)

Messer Sword

• Medium Damage Weapon.(unable to block)

Heavy War Hammer

• Medium Damage Weapon.(unable to block)

Lucerne Hammer

• High Damage Weapon.(unable to block)

•  In addition to the vast collection of weapons added to the addon, we have added blood particles, these particles have replaced the critical hit particle!

• For Shields to work please download the shield config pack and make sure it is above the base pack in both behavior and resource!

EXTRAS

• Surcoats, Crests, and Cloaks

In Epic Knights the boot armor slot is used for surcoats/capes. Surcoats are crafted with woolen cloth, wool, and the dye of your choice (excluding pink, lime, cyan, light gray, and magenta) please note that surcoats are still not fully done in terms of combinations! You can add 2 Crests to your surcoats or shields.
