Vulcanite Mod

Vulcanite Mod (1.19.2, 1.18.2) adds a new ore that found below the Lava level in the Nether but rarely even at any height. (A vanilla feeling ore that could protect the player from the hotness of The Nether). The ore can be mined only with an Iron Pickaxe (or higher).

Features:

• The properties of the Tools and Armor are like Iron, but a little bit better, with some special properties.
• To make Vulcanite items you need to use an Anvil, you basically need to upgrade Iron Equipment. You need Vulcanite Nuggets, about 25% in ingots. E.g. Chestplate requires 72 nuggets (8 ingots) to be crafted, to upgrade it you’ll need 18 nuggets. Another example is Flint and Vulcanite, you’ll need 2.25 nuggets (rounded = 2) to upgrade a Flint and Steel. Due to anvil limitations, you’ll need 1 level of experience to upgrade a piece of equipment if it’s unenchanted (if you have Charm installed, instead, there will be no cost). If the Iron Equipment is enchanted a few levels will be required to upgrade it.

Armor:

• Every Armor Piece reduces the damage from hot sources (Lava, Fire, Magma Block)
• The more armor points the more protection you’ll get against hot sources
• A full set reduces by 75% the damage from hot sources while in the Nether
• In other dimensions the damage reduction is 40%.
• The armor points given by a full set of Vulcanite Armor is 13

Tools and Weapons:

• The Sword and Tools deal 15% more damage to fire immune mobs. Fire Aspect increases the damage by 7.5% per level.
• (Currently not available in 1.14) Tools smelt blocks that they mine. E.g. mining Iron Ore will drop an Iron Ingot, harvesting Wood will drop Charcoal. Fortune will not change the drop of smelted items (e.g. no increased Iron Ingots)
• Tools and Sword have about 25% more durability than Iron Tools (313)
• The Axe has the same Attack Speed of a Stone Axe (0.8) but with .5 more Damage (9.5)
• Tools are slightly slower than Iron Tools and can mine like Diamond ones so a Pickaxe can mine Obsidian

Flint and Vulcanite:

• Right-clicking with it on a mob, will set him on fire for 5 seconds (Creepers will still be ignited). Applying Flame (only via Anvil) will double that time
• TnT will explode twice as fast when ignited with Flint & Vulcanite
• Has 25% more durability than Flint and Steel

Vulcanite Block:

• Sets mobs standing on it on fire for 3 seconds.
• Burns infintely like Netherrack

Advancements (1.12+ only):

• The mod has advancements that help the player learn the mod.

10 seconds in lava with Vulcanite armor you would still have 6-7 hearts.

10 seconds (actually 6) in lava with iron armor (With diamond you can get up to 10).
